How To Join Split Iso Files
Hello, newcomer here. I dumped Super Smash Bros Brawl using CleanRip and I'm confused on how to join the two iso files.
Jul 23, 2010 - Either rar to split it into parts, or extract the individual files from the iso with something like imgburn and make a new iso at the destination.
I tried following the instructions on the guide but I must be following it incorrectly since when I try to enter the following line command (in quotes) 'b/ RSBE01.part1.iso fulliso.iso' the command prompt says that 'The system cannot find the file specified.' What I am doing wrong? I did enter the directory of the location of the split isos (E:, which is my USB drive) as a separate command before the command in quotes. So I would like help with merging the two isos. I will supply additional information if needed.
Winrar Merge Split Files
If I had to guess, I'd say you're basing that command on a very thoroughly Chinese-whispered version of my second ever post to these forums. The command you want is copy, with the /b switch, then a list of all the parts you have and finally the name you want the whole iso file to have. If your part files are called RSBE01.part.iso, then you'll need to list all of these, and if they're not, that's probably why you're getting an error. If it's been split into three parts (i.e.
If you've got 4GB chunks and have dual-layer mode on in CleanRip, which it needs to be for this game) the exact command you'll need is. So I wasn't actually sending the commands to the right place before. Now that I figured out how to. I copied the command that AnyOldName3 put down and now it says 'The syntax of the command is incorrect'. I thought it had something to do with the fact that there is no file called 'RSBE01.part2.iso' (there is only part0 and part1), so I tried removing the section of the command related to the nonexistent file. It still says 'The syntax of the command is incorrect' however.
Further advice would be appreciated. Also for JosJuice, I was trying to follow the guide on the wiki. Though I did mess up regarding the directory.
When shopping online for software for your small business, you usually need to download the software and run the installer directly from your hard drive. However, with larger business productivity suites such as Microsoft Office, downloads are often available as ISO images you can burn to a CD or DVD. With ISO mounting software, you can install these bigger images directly from the hard drive. However, to transfer large installation applications to media with a capacity smaller than the actual file size of the image - for instance, burn a program designed for a DVD to several CDs - first split the ISO file into smaller pieces. 3.Launch the file compression program on your computer.
After the program window appears, click the “Add” or “Add New Archive” link or icon on the toolbar. When the file browser window opens, navigate to the folder on your computer that contains the ISO image you want to split into smaller pieces. With the file name of the ISO image highlighted, click the “Add” or 'Open” button. A new “Add to Archive” or “Archive” window appears where you can configure the compression settings for the ISO image file. 7.Enter a name for the compressed ISO image in the File Name, Name or Save As field.

Click the “Archive,” “Compress” or “OK” button to start the compression process. The file compression program splits the ISO file into smaller pieces based on the media type or file size you selected in the configuration windows.
When creating the smaller files, the compression utility uses the same name you entered in the Name or Save As field, but appends each filename with a number that represents the position of the file in the file set. For example, if you split a 4.2GB-sized DVD file into smaller pieces suitable for burning to CDs, the file compression program creates six files - the first file is “filename1,” the second “filename2” and so on. Tips. After you compress the ISO image into smaller pieces, you can burn them to CD with your preferred disc-authoring software or copy them to other media. To move the complete ISO image to another computer, first install the first disc of the set and run the extraction utility.
After you double-click “file1” on the first disc of the set, the compression utility will automatically prompt you to insert subsequent discs. After you extract all of the pieces onto the new computer, you can mount or burn the ISO image to CD as you normally would.
